In Orthodox Christianity, Pascha (from the Hebrew word Pesach, which means Passover) commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Considered the “feast of feasts.” The celebration begins on Saturday evening and continues through Sunday, marking the end of the Lenten fast.
